I forgot which team they played a few weeks ago, but when the camera switched to AJ in street clothes ... you could almost capture his thoughts of ... "someone, please come get me the hell outta here".

I feel bad for a great player, playing at a HIGH LEVEL this long not having the realistic opportunity & team to truly compete.

100% agree with you. I wish we could get him and he have a true shot at a ring.

Fans will go on and on about player loyalty, but it leads to guys like Fitzgerald in AZ who has a stellar career but never really accomplishes anything. I believe this is the reason Mora was supportive of Rickey Jackson going to SF in 1994. He knew he had a chance at a ring and that SB ring helped get him into the HoF.

While all these trades are exciting for the NFL fans in general I hope that the Saints steer clear of losing draft picks for an oft injured WR and ride this wave of wins into the playoffs.
This team is winning without some star pieces that should return after the bye week.

True we are winning but are you ok with the receiving core minus Thomas ? Why do you think they reached out to Denver for Sanders?
I 'd be shocked if we don't pick up someone before the trade deadline. I wouldn't rule out Tyler Eifert either.

The current supporting cast at WR isn't gonna be good enough come playoffs.
