Trade Teddy @ Max Value

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He's worth more than a 3rd but nobody is giving us a 2nd. Just keep him. I would not take a 3rd or any combination of lesser picks. I saw they Benched Brady late in the game. We could start ...

That Gregg Williams Defense was all over Brady, in fact Brady was so
overwhelmed he sat out and ordered a few Hot Dogs. Gisele doesn't let
Tommy eat tube steaks at home.

Nobody will give us anything of significant value for Bridgewater, since we've already overpaid, why would we get rid of him now?!?

The Bears moved UP to get Trubisky over Mahomes — anything is possible

Re: Trade Teddy @ Max Value

Teddy wouldn't be doing as well behind a mediocre line

Like a team you would trade him to

I am glad y'all are not the GM. Teddy isn't managing the game he is performing to what the game plan is for the specific team. If he was managing the team he would be averaging no more than 15 passes per game. Example Trent Dilfer

Not intending to come off like a smart-ass but just pointing out the distinction without difference in that statement... We are also 5-0 with Crawley, you high on him as well?

In 2017 we all was high on him when devante Harris was being bombed on like Pearl Harbor and we lost P.J. Williams to concussion. 2019, it's what have you done for me lately.

As for Teddy he is winning. Did you say trade Drew Brees when he was 5-0 and coming from a severe shoulder injury?

No one can perform from a mediocre line. Not even Drew

In fact, if part of Sean Payton’s strategy was to let TB ride this wave in order to offload him at max value, I’d be even more impressed with coach.

I know it’s a hot take, but thoughts?
If we trade Teddy and Drew goes down, we become a "desperate team grasping at straws for a QB"

I wouldn't risk it
