Re: Trade Teddy @ Max Value
Believe it or not Brees only had one really good year in San Diego. Take out that one year and efficiency wise they are similar when comparing their time in Minny and SD. Payton really took Brees to the next level. I think we are all spoiled by what Brees has done since 2006 but that is an abnormally. Look at the league today. How many QBs are truly threats to win games with their arm and brain every week? Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Mahomes maybe a few more.
With the way our team is built on the defensive side I believe that we could be a great team with Teddy. I believe that if Payton knew that TB was going to be the main guy he could also mold him to be better just as he did with Brees. I’m not saying that he could be Brees but the guy is a winner. He won in Minny and he’s winning now. |

Re: Trade Teddy @ Max Value
There is nothing saying that Brees thumb will hold up all the way trough the season. Our team is loaded and we got a real shot at competing for the Super Bowl, getting rid of the best insurance policy at the QB position in the leauge would be lunacy.

Yes there is. This procedure, developed in 2015, has been used on several professional athletes since and has proven to be a far faster method of returning to 100% AND adds additional structural integrity through the use of the internal brace to reduce chances of the same thing (which was a fluke) to happen again.

Re: Trade Teddy @ Max Value
There's no market from a playoff caliber team except maybe Tennessee. Weak division. No QB. But, the Saints wouldn't take a #1 and they shouldn't. It's all about THIS season. There's no guarantees with Brees.

Re: Trade Teddy @ Max Value
No team would give a number one for a half year trial. Miami may give a #2 seeing they wanted him to begin with. Maybe a sign and trade type of thing behind closed doors. Unfortunately, we are stuck with him for the rest of the season. He a game manager which is great but he’s not the future. The draft will bring what I see as the best qb class since 1984.

The draft is always a huge gamble when drafting the next big star at QB. Be careful what you wish for.
