I don't think the Pats even want Sanu. There is a shortage of decent WR's right now and it will only get worse.

The main contenders are hurting at WR with a long way to go. It looks more like a keep away move IMO. Are they really going to use him enough to matter. I don't see the point of giving up a 2nd for a WR that will seldom be used.

I know he's a burner but I'm more interested in if he can run precise routes. We already have Ginn Jr for the 9 (go route).

WR is the one position that the Saints have needed to address for years. Scrubs are not the answer. A high round draft pick seems to be the way to go. Between Ireland and Curtis Johnson I have faith that we can quickly develop the right player in the system.

Edit: This does little to help us this year though.
