Great win. We are going to be a wrecking ball of destruction when Cook and Kamara come back.

Exactly! This is so important! We get Taysom back along with Brees back as a HUGE part of the offense. That's why we needed Brees back. We get two impact players at the same time.

Re: Observations from the Saints Win Against the Cardinals

I didn't get to watch the game, but the box score is a thing of beauty. Held the Cardinals to 40 yards rushing and really I saw it was much lower than that until the game was put away. Keep up that production vs the run and we could pull a Guido and get to 15-1.

Re: Observations from the Saints Win Against the Cardinals

Some nit picky, some praise, some neutral observations.

- We need to start the first half as we do the second half. We presently hold the streak record in the NFL for first possessions without a TD at 14. This is always a scripted drive. We are slow starting on offense.

- Drew played like he wasn't gone.

- All debate and opinions aside, while Drew was out, Teddy Bridgwater did exactly what he was signed and paid to do and he gets a hats off from me for that accomplishment. There are few starters and very few back ups that could have maintained the way he did.

- Luts's head isnt clear.

- Defense,We have one. A damn good one.

I have a gut feeling that once Kamara and Cook are back and we get Hill and Harrison regular focus in our offense, we are going to be wicked explosive.

Barring a crazy comeback by the Panthers here in the next hour, the rest of the division also lost. Really good day.
