Nope both. A leader like Brees could have put the squelch on those last plays if he wanted. He just wanted record numbers and points more than what was best for the team. Great way to lose the respect of a bunch of much younger players.

Bullcrap. None of the younger players would have wanted to quit trying. If they had then I don't want their asses on our team. They would actually have more respect for Brees' not wanting to quit. I want my team to do everything they can do to keep scoring. By the way, total points scored is a tiebreaker for playoff seeding, as is total number of touchdowns scored.
