I don’t think Brees will fall off that quickly. Favre and Manning looked like old men wearing NFL uniforms when they fell off. Look at all the shots Favre took towards the end. Peyton was dealing with a neck injury. Brees looked fresh yesterday. In fact, he didn’t look like a guy north of 40.

Agree. Two things will extend Brees’ career. 1- A dominant O line. He plays from a clean pocket and rarely gets hit 2- His passing game is different. Farve was a long ball passer. He needed to hold the balll longer which increase the punishment he took. Manning as well, just not to Farve’s extent. Brees is a surgeon who carves you to pieces with short and intermediate throws. He reads Ds better than most QBs, allowing him to know where the open man will be sooner. His accuracy also allows him to makes throws earlier, not waiting for the receiver to get more separation. ![]()
