Adrian Arrington , I mean Butler is injured. Someone will step up. Smith was looking good before he got hurt. He picks up where he left off and we are fine.

Would love a new toy for Breeses. But loomis and Payton must have it figured out. it’s the defense that’s just that good this year and a new wr kick returner that may be the difference in the playoffs . Donte Harris could be the jewel in space and he can make a DB look stupid does he have the hands?

Loomis is going to trade Brees in a multi-team trade for the first 20 picks in the draft. It's the master plan.

people forget Kamara has been out. We have been pretty banged up on offense. Before he went down they weren’t giving Murray squat. He has proved himself and is going to be used a lot more than before. Just another guy for defenses to cover. Get Smith and Cook back and I think we are golden. Another WR would be nice but with our defense we will be fine. It’s not like we have to put up 30 plus points a game to win anymore.

Agree. I see Payton spooling up Murray at RB with Kamara, Thomas, Cook, and Taysom as the receiver corps... Cover Dat with some serious Yards After Catch?

We can win with 20+ points nowadays thanks to our awesome and young defense! In years past it used to be the offense needed a thirtyburger or bust.

We have the same receivers that we struggled with last year in the clutch. Another years growth was supposed to help but I'm still not seeing separation. Carr's catch was a simple set down in the zone pitch and catch and was nothing special. Tre Smith has been average. Nothing special at all. I'm not impressed. I believe we need more help but that's just me....and some of ya'll. :wink:

But you'd been a bit naive if you don't think the Saints front office isn't looking and making phone calls. There is zero chance we are just sitting still today.

Good teams are always looking to improve. After the dust settles at 4 p.m. today, if the Saints don't acquire anyone it would mean to me that they didn't find anyone at a reasonable price, not because they are "ok" with the current roster.
