It must be the Falcons going to the NFC champ game or the Panthers to the Superbowl two years ago throwing you off huh? Couple that with our recent run at mediocrity and the Bucs fall into disarray, I could see how this divison would appear wide open.
I see those "how to be a smart-ass/ass-hole-jerk" lessons are really paying off for you whodi. You must be really proud.

Of course the Panthers aren't the same team... they're going to have Kris Jenkins, DeShaun Foster, Stephen Davis, and Steve Smith back healthy. They also will have Ken Lucas, Freddie Jones, and Thomas David this year. They are only going to be 2 or 3 times better than they were last year.

The same can be said about the Falcons. They are only going to have DeAngelo Hall and Jason Webster together for a full season... did I mention they signed Ed Hartwell to? I forgot they have this Vick guy on their team and one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL.

Although the Saints are my favorite team and who I root for the most, I'm not going to give them any credit for they have not proven anything on that field the past 3 or 4 years besides being mediocre. I'll give credit where credit is due... and we haven't earned squat yet.

Hey, they cost about the same as your "how to be a dumb ass in 3 easy steps lessons," so why not?

Nah... just the division. I think its going to be Falcons or Saints to win this division as longas Vick stays healthy... I think the Panthers are going to start slow and finish good but a little to late.

Remember who the Falcons play the first 3 games -- its a touigh first 5 games for them --- Philly, Seatlle, Buff and a new and improved Vikings. Then the Pats. Best possible scenario for them is 3-2, more likely 2-3, possible 1-4. Then they have to play within their division. Sorry -- I just don't think Atlants is going to survice the early going. Now look at the Panthers -- After the PAts they play Miami, Green Bay, Arizona, Detroit. Not bad out of the gates for them.

Okay, but you just said you really can't see the Falcons winning the division. So that leaves us pretty much cause I know you can't see the Bucs winning the division. Now don't get me wrong, I am all for us winning the division. But to discount the Falcons and Panthers is a big mistake IMO.

In that case you can't discount the Bucs either... I mean they are men, they are paid professionals, and they have just as much chance as anyone else.

History says the Falcons will fail. They've never had 2 straight winning seasons. Vick will get hurt or have an outbreak and they will go belly up.

I'm not saying they don't have a good team....but I think the division will go to us or the Panthers. Just my 2 cents.

Good point. It's amazing, isn't it? The Falcons have what, is it 38 or 39 years of fanchise history? And they've -never- had back to back winning season? That's one powerful curse.

ATL is out.

So that leaves Carolina winning the division, in my humble opinion. It might take another broken Vick leg to do it, but something is going to happen to them.
