Chargers | Seau Leaving? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
5:54 PT: Jim Trotter reports for the Union Tribune San Diego Chargers LB Junior Seau said he has played his final game for the team. The Chargers have given his agent permission to talk trade with other NFL clubs, and if one doesn't materialize, Seau said he expects to be released. "It's definitely good and bad," Seau said after speaking with coach Marty Schottenheimer. "It's time for us to part ways. There will be some disgruntled people and disgruntled fans, but it was time. I have so many great memories from my time in San Diego, but I look forward to the challenge ahead. I have no regrets about what was done. I wish everyone the best." Can't believe that he wants to leave. I thought he would be one of the few players that would start and retire with the same team. |

Gatorman I think you\'re high on that last comment. Colvin already signed with New England so they can\'t move him to MLB????
Do you mean Holdman? If this has any inkling of possibility the the Bears are the laughing stock of the league and need to be put out to pasture and mercy killed!!!!! |

I haven\'t cried one time since I was 8 years old.
Just the thought of Urlacher in Black & Gold colors are making the tears swell up. Not that it will happen, but just the thought of it... Oh Gawd, I need a tissue. :P |

Hey guys, I live in Chicago. Take it from me - this will NEVER happen. Not only is Brian Urlacher one of the three best middle linebackers in the league and the one TRUE franchise player for the Bears, he is the epitome of Chicago.
He plays a spot made famous by Butkis and Singletary. It is THE position on which this CITY, not only the franchise, hangs its hat. There would be rioting in the streets if that happened. Urlacher\'s jersey is the highest selling in the NFL by far b/ everyone in Chicago owns one. I\'ve been to a number of games at Soldier Field. Rarely do you see anyone else\'s jersey. I have to tell you that it would be more shocking to me to see the Bears trade Urlacher than it would to see the Bengals tie the Dolphins undefeated season record and win the Super Bowl next season. |
