this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't follow the rest of the league. With yesterdays loss did we lose the possibility of home field advantage? If so, how do things break down from here?...

Re: Playoff Picture.
We did lose a major possibility of home field advantage It's really all for Green Bay and the Niners to lose.
The wildcards are probably going to be Minnesota and Seattle. |

The 49ers have the hardest schedule and have to play us. We can still win the whole thing... that is if we are good enough.

Don't think we have much of a shot at the 1 seed. I see us finishing 12-4 and with the 49ers playing good ball the could end up 14-2 easy.
GB has a good shot to challenge us and take the 2 seed. My prediction is we get the 3 seed at 12-4 and lose to the Vikings in the first round. |

Playoffs??
You guys are good. We just lost a divisional game at home and a star cornerback who could be sidelined for several weeks ... I'm not looking past our game on Sunday vs another divisional opponent in the Bucs. Playoffs? So much can happen and sway seedings in a month. |

Re: Playoff Picture.
Well, Seattle's win today just complicated things.
After the loss to Atlanta, I was not too confident and after Seattle winning this game I'm concerned even more. No questions asked we have to sweep the Bucs. We can still get to 12-4 if we split with them and Carolina and win everything else. 12-4 is not gonna be good enough though for HFA. From how I am seeing things, a 10-6 team won't make the playoffs in the NFC unless it's the NFC East division winner. One good thing is Minnesota and Seattle still have to play each other, as does Carolina and Seattle. It's not easy going to the SB. Everytime we have what it takes to go, someone is in our way be it Minnesota, SF, LAR. |

Re: Playoff Picture.
Might be the year we win it all on the road in the playoffs.
They seemed to been playing better on the road than in the dome. |
