I don’t see us committing to the run with a weakened O-Line against a top run defense. If/when Mike Evans goes off against PJ Williams we’ll be looking at a shootout.

I guarantee you if you pound Latavius Murray early and often, it will open up the play action down field.

Passing 40+ times a game is the recipe for an L. Need to keep that D line fresh, chew up some clock. They were on the field a lot last week.

No need to get into shoot outs with Tampa and those receivers, especially with Lattimore out.

I'm hopeful we get the "bad" Jameis on Sunday.

Actually run blocking is usually easier than pass blocking...

Why? First, it gives the offensive lineman the advantage of initiative rather than stepping back, ceding the LOS...

Second, it allows the offensive lineman to punish his opponent with more physicality than pass blocking...

Third, in zone blocking schemes, such that the Saints employ, traps can be set against better defensive linemen, using their quickness against them...

Then why don't teams just run all the time? Well, then you've got linebackers and safeties who will stack the box, that's why you pass to keep 'em honest...

Payton must commit, trust his run game more, he sets run up with pass, but with our roster, we're better built at this time to run, eat clock, rest the defense to make takeaways which is winning football...

And I'm with Major, we spent the money to get a bigger back than Ingram, why are we not using Murray then?!? or why is the Press not Pressing Payton for letting Ingram walk?

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Paytons ego got the better of him, its not the first time.

Weve won 5 straight games by committing to the run and having a balanced attack, when Brees comes back all of a sudden that goes straight out the window.

How in the hell is #2 a “bold” prediction?? I mean that’s a given. A third grader knows as much. I’m losing respect for this guy.

Payton was trying to impress his fiancé with his creative game plan. His legs were probably too weak to draw up a solid game plan.Lol

Editors often edit, assign a headline to a story...

Also, after the way the offensive line played last week, I'm not so sure it's a given that they bounce back...

Clapp has to seize the moment, the time is now...

McCoy may be hitting the rookie wall ten games into the season...

Warford just got more Big Mo guaranteed, so it's worrisome that he's mailing it in now...

and Armstead is over is usual Games Played, so he's use to checking out at this time...
