I agree with WhoDat though, both sides are equally responsible for last year. MiniMe can scream all he wants trying to make it seem different, as I have stated, I refuse to believe anymore that this is a real person who thinks this way.

It seems that our defense was, in fact, not very good. Definitely an interesting take....I need to look at some numbers and see where I stand. |

I see. Well, its a team game. Our defense was bad, but our offense was pretty horrible, too. They may have put up some good stats, but how many of those stats were made at the end of the game when the Saints had already lost and the other team's defense was taking it easy on us? I want to see the stat that says how many offensive 3 and outs we had compared to others that year.
But, yes, our defense was horrible. They were especially bad at the beginning of the season. |

Maybe, to be fair, it's more along the lines of why the team sucked for 12 games O or D? I think it was a group effort.
I also think that not getting a 1st down on your 1st drive for ten games in the NFL is very close to impossible, but the Saints pulled it off. You can't blame the O directly for the play of the D, (There have certainly been defenses good enough to bail out bad offenses.) but when your D is mediocre to bad going into the season, it can't help to have them on the field all game. (Or much less the entire 1st Qtr.) OK...now I'm talking to myself again |
