Re: Baldy's breakdown
I hope the Saints front office/Loomis can make it work next off season.
I'd prefer letting ANDRUS PEAT walk in a New York minute if it means we could retain Apple. Solid #2 corners aren't easy to find at this level. |
Re: Baldy's breakdown
Letting Eli walk would be a bigger mistake than not resigning Hicks.

IMO the damage was done (lack of coaching and on field production) and he landed in Sean P's dog house. Too bad they couldn't make it work. |

Re: Baldy's breakdown
I got the impression that Rob Ryan didn't know how to use Hicks, or want to, and so he was traded to get a blocking TE in return whom Payton could use.

Re: Baldy's breakdown
We are getting some good play by our talented players.... but you have to give it up for Allen, the play calling has been solid for 90% of the season. That ugly 10% comes in the 4th qtr when he starts playing safe... by giving up points lol... I’ll never get the prevent defense.

Re: Baldy's breakdown
Tampa/Arians likes to use the Tight End, and who did Baldy say was on the TE? Klein...
Everyone assumed the LBer breakdowns, though rare, were on Klein; this is eerily reminiscent of the criticisms of Shanle; yet from 2014-2016 many Saints fans were missing Shanle cause LB play got worse... DeMario has the athleticism so he gets put in position to make the big splash plays, as he should; but I can tell you Klein is doing a lot of the dirty work, and like offensive linemen, goes unappreciated till missed... |
