this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Maybe Payton was going to burn a time out anyway while they sorted out Armstead? Tried to get the timeout back, or just kill some time? I *still* don't get it....

It doesn't matter there hasn't been a PI penalty overturned this season and there wont be one. This way the league can say the rule isn't needed, nothing was overturned.
