We've seen a dramatic decline in Peat who'd played injured and often shifted to LT for the fragile Terron Armstead; but coming into training camp out-of-shape, whether late season injury or naught, was terrible... Irregardless of some of his 2017 accolades, Warford has been just okay at Right Guard, and we'd done better spending slightly more for Kevin Zeitler, or saving that money and getting as effective right guard for less... Armstead is injured, again, likely out till the playoffs if we follow his trend since getting paid the Big Mo contract... Not sure Brees' plans when we win the SuperBowl this year, but I'd strongly consider blowing this offensive line up, getting another first round stud for the offensive line, and reshaping it younger, stronger, better... But whether free agency or draft, and I'd prefer at least a shot each way, we need a receiving threat, whether TE or a speedster WO opposite Michael Thomas to make it easier to open up the offense... We're just losing to many third down conversions and red zone opportunities... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
