This and waiting for a whistle. When you have someone wrapped and you know it’s that wrap that can’t be broken, players rarely chance anything that could jeopardize that.

There are a few key plays in a game where someone has the premeditation to hit or hurt someone.

Everything is bang bang bang.... when you see poor tackling it’s not that they don’t know the proper technique it’s that they haven’t done it enough for it to be second nature. Great tacklers rarely screw up because the don’t think much about it, it’s just reaction.

It’s been said before and rarely resonated but it’s very accurate. After the snap, Football is a game of fractional reaction times and those that have to think look and are just slow.
