4 key matchups to watch in Week 14's Saints vs. 49ers game
Saints RT Ryan Ramczyk vs. 49ers DE Nick Bosa
Ryan Ramczyk has been an absolutely lockdown tackle for New Orleans this year. His continued success this season has allowed the Saints offense to run efficiently. This year alone, Ramczyk has made the likes of J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, Dante Fowler, and Shaquil Barrett look pedestrian. https://saintswire.usatoday.com/2019...s-nfl-week-14/ |

Re: 4 key matchups to watch in Week 14's Saints vs. 49ers game
IIRC Bosa won't face up with Ramz ... more likely to see Omameh.
Side note - statistically the Niners are ranked 22nd vs the run. I'd surely test em with Murray. No need to throw the football 40+ times. A balanced attack would be equally effective. Sherman is missing practice with a sore knee ... test him on the left (he doesn't travel) side. Don't know how often he will match up against CGM but test him anyway. Can't wait. |

Re: 4 key matchups to watch in Week 14's Saints vs. 49ers game
Finally someone else says Davis has been one of our best FA pickups in franchise history. Second to Brees in my book.
I’m starting to get the feeling this game might not even be close. We have faced division opponents the last 3 weeks which makes it very difficult to judge where we are amongst the rest of the league given the familiarity between division teams. We may just go ahead and blow them out. |

He's been on both sides this year. Primarily on the "weak side".
Bosa went nuts in that Green Bay game and I distinctly remember him taking back up RT Alex Light's lunch for 4 quarters. His "rip" and "swim" technique is ridiculous as a rookie. Ramz will probably see Arik Armstead (10 sacks thus far) and lock him down. We'll have our work cut out for us but the Saints have a very good O line. |

I want to see if the 49ers OL can hold up versus the crowd noise and our pass rush. They likely will have a harder time running the ball so their OL will be tested more in pass protection than usual. That could be the avenue to beating them.
