Sorry, I can’t blame the zebras for our piss poor defensive effort.....yeah we have been putting ourselves on the wrong side of the penalty game far too long...after awhile we look for excuses. Plain and simple, our d is subject.

2 ticky tacky calls on 3rd down were the difference on that scoring drive.

I still question that 4th down fake to give them short field position though.

Why give a struggling defense a short field to defend?

That's on Payton. Anyway, lots of football left.

It's not on CJGJ.

Before that 3rd down conversion when P.J. decided not to tackle(or tackle like sh**) he had easy INT on slant for Sanders. He was in perfect position to drive for the football but just stood there.

The defense terrible first half - offense great
2nd half, other way round, good field position wasted twice, fumble

Simple fact is there was a BS call on MT, noncall for hold on smith, the tackle of marcus William's. Bull****, they changed the game with two 3rd down calls on that drive.

Win or lose I may be done with professional football. These refs have cost the saints 2 games (if they lose this one). If the players or coach question the nfl or the refs they get fined. This is a socialist government being run by godell.

I'm not saying we are not without fault, but 2 3rd down penalties kept that drive alive that pretty much comes close to stealing it
