I can go with that

Hard to beat the opponents and refs though.

Apart from calls so much sloppy play. Might get away with onside kicks and penalties against Bucs etc but not at top level. The teams always seems to find a way to keep games in the balance.

To a point I agree
Though I think it's league wide issue, they definitely want certain markets in. But I'm sick of blaming officials and letting sloppy play off the hook.

The finger can be pointed at multiple people. The refs did us a lot of favors today.

There was nothing sloppy about Johnson's tackle. That was the league giving the Niners a first down, and had it not been on him it would have been on someone else for some other bull**** call. It's not even debatable. The league does all it can to controll the outcome. Nothing could be more obvious.

On other plays, you have holding before the pass and pass interference afterwards. On punts though, that PI isn't there, but that doesn't mean you can't hold during the pass. If the pass is thrown out of the punt formation, holding can occur at any time... even when the ball is in the air, which is what happened. Horrible understanding of the rules, and the refs suck.

That's what I was saying earlier, and I was doing some serious yelling at the TV while Dean was putting his foot in his mouth. I haven't been that mad during a game in years. I was saying "do you hear yourself, Dean!"

How can he sit there and admit, on one hand, that you can't hold on a punt, but then say "oh, but he can't be called for interference"... Dean! It's STILL holding! What about that? What a total clown show. And neither announcers had either the common sense, or the guts to point that out to him.

I don't disagree
No doubt the Saints are on the rough end, no doubt the league doesn't want home field advantage for the Saints and wants Dallas, 49ers,Rams and the media market going deep. It wasnt sloppy by Johnson, but plenty of plays over the past weeks have been. 3 onside kick recoveries, last play today, drops etc.

The refs suck, But that's a easy get out for plays the team should be converting and taking them out of it

I was telling my dad a few days ago that the Saints needed to run right up the middle against them, because they are an undersized front who relies on speed and quickness to get to the QB. And right away, Murray had some good runs up the middle, but Payton couldn't stand prosperity, and he had to pitch it WIDE, working right into the 71ers strength of getting off the edge. That killed several drives.

So while the defense obviously deserves the most blame, along with more awful officiating, Payton's ego of trying to trick people for no reason got in the way of what was an otherwise great day for the offense.

Two words....Zach Line!

Murray needs a blocker to really get going.

Why does he need Zach Line? Nobody stooped him today, other than Sean Payton. That's really all there is to it. Payton needs to take the blinders off, and actually ask himself what Kamara is doing to help this offense right now.

I'll leave it to others to speculate on injury, or business decisions by Kamara, but one thing is clear and is a fact. Kamara is not producing, and Murray is. Ride the hot hand.
