The only thing that will fix him is Sean Payton not putting him through the grinder early in the year and giving him knee and ankle injuries. Try to run with either banged up against NFL talent. Much less both! Beer rant over.

Re: 49ers @ Saints Game Day Thread
Saints put up 46 points on the "best defense"... Offense wasn't the issue....A few bad calls and terrible play by Craig and Eli helped tremendously....Fully Healthy we beat them in the playoffs though

Re: 49ers @ Saints Game Day Thread
I believe that was a PI on E Sanders against M Williams on the 75 yard TD....but why was Von Bell matched against him in man coverage? D A has to play to players strengths more same thing with E Sanders TD pass why is your best PR in coverage on a RB by himself?

Re: 49ers @ Saints Game Day Thread
Probably the the best comment in the twitter feed was how is this considered a punt formation when the Saints have a QB on the field end not a punter. It's effectively a deep shotgun. Had they lined up in this formation on 3rd down a PI call should have been made. So, it would appear that a PI call would have been appropriate on 4th down as well.

Re: 49ers @ Saints Game Day Thread
Regardless, it's holding the whole way down the field. Holding has been called for much less on returns I know that much.
The Patriots got screwed more though. A potential fumbe / TD blown dead then an obvious TD was taken away. Pats should have won that game. Their offense sucks but their D, that is how they make money. |
