Re: So if the Seahawks sweep SF next week what happens with seeding?
We need to win out. We need SEA, GB, and SF to go 2-1 in order for a chance at a bye. We don’t have a cake walk. This would be the easiest scenario.
We play two AFC South teams in the hunt and a dreaded DIV game. Wouldn’t mind seeing the Rams win tonight. Sad that I’m gonna have to cheer for Matt Ryan and dem sorry a&& Falcons next week. |

We should probably start scouting the Packers because we’re probably going there in the divisional round.

The next two weeks of football the seeding probably is gonna change weekly. We’re the only team over the next 3 weeks not going head to head with teams fighting for one of the top 4 spots.
NFC NORTH, WEST and EAST all have teams in it and gonna knock each other up and down. |

Actually I think all we need is GB to lose for us to get to get the 2 seed last time I checked. I think we have the tie breaker over the Vikings.

The Seahawks apparent loss tonight means that if they beat SF, and the Saints win out, they overtake both of those teams. I believe GB has the tie breaker for the 1 seed, due to conference records, but I don't see that team running the table. They were awful against the hapless Redskins today. Edit- I should add that the Seahawks will of course have to not lose any other games, unless SF loses another game outside of Seattle, as well. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: So if the Seahawks sweep SF next week what happens with seeding?
We technically can retake the #1 seed next week. A couple of things have to happen.
1. Saints>Colts 2. Falcons>49ers 3. Bears>Packers 4. Seahawks>Panthers |
