"He's had that knee problem since he's been in the league so it's something he has to fight through," head coach Jim Haslett said. "He's fine." Saints | Thomas Cramps Up Tue, 2 Aug 2005 18:27:29 -0700 The Associated Press reports New Orleans Saints CB Fred Thomas (cramps) left practice Tuesday, August 2 early because he was cramping up. Saints | Stallworth Looking for More Inside Action Tue, 2 Aug 2005 18:19:53 -0700 The Associated Press reports New Orleans Saints WR Donte' Stallworth said he expects to play more this season slot receiver, which will mean running more inside routes. He said offensive coordinator Mike Sheppard approached him about the idea and he was thrilled with it, having filled a similar role in his last season in college at Tennessee. Stallworth likes the idea of matching up with linebackers and safeties. |

You heard it here first... Stallworth will catch 60 plus balls have a his first 1,000 yard season. I can't wait to see him on the field this year.

God. I hope he doesn't get "Alligator Arms".
Over the middle is a dangerous place to make a living. Especially if your QB leads you into hits or makes you leap for passes. Could utilize his speed though. If he makes a catch on a quick route from the slot he could outrun most defenders in the league if his "Hammy" holds up. |

Not good to hear about Watson's quad. I think he is perhaps the most important piece of our LB puzzle this season. He needs to be healthy and ready to go....

Been watching him at camp daily. The guy is everywhere. He is quick. Cie Grant has looked awesome though. When he has made mistakes his recovery speed and quickness has been amazing. Faith! |

I truly hope that Cie can develop into the player we thought we were getting with him.
As for these other guys - these are the minor injuries that always occur in camp. Nothing to be worried about, guys get banged up. Let's just hope that this trend continues b/c right now we're totally healthy. Only Shad Meier would have to miss game time. I'd love to go into the season that way. |
