That is a shame. I know that his family is devastated as are most fans that watched him play. He had an awful lot of health problems. No offense but I wonder if it was from steroids? He was such a stud. RIP!!

They weren’t some of the best lbs on the field , they were the GREATEST . I were so proud of being in that dome in them days.

Sad loss for the Johnson family and sad loss for his Saints family.
Back yard ball in the 80s was all about him or Sam Mills at MLB around my hometown. Both gone way too early. |
