Terrell Suggs Cut

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He'd cost 3ml for the rest of the year. Doubt he falls fair enough in waivers but I'd be all over signing him with Davenport out...

Re: Terrell Suggs Cut

I doubt he falls to the Saints, as well, but if he does, he's undoubtedly the best defensive lineman the Saints could hope to pick up at this time of the year. Definitely would be worth it, considering the enormous bite that the injury bug just took out of that front.

As a vet, is he even subject to waiver claims?

It sure wouldn't hurt to put in a claim in on T Sizzle.

Yes.

After the trade deadline, all players must clear waivers ... vets included.

Can Suggs reject waiver claim if he doesn't like the team he's going to in order to try to hook on with a championship contender? Only way I see this happening.

You can’t reject waivers. You can not report but the team still holds your rights to the end of the season. I think he gets picked up by another playoff contender. We are so far down the line...now way he probably clears Seattle.
