I know some LSU ‘rs will take offense but Bogger is the worst yet on Monday night football. Proof all players are not meant for the booth. Won’t even comment on the Used Car Salesmen standing next to him who failed his WWE tryout.

I didn't think anyone could be worse than Witten at commentating, but Booger is just that god awful. Frankly, I'd rather listen to Dudley "Booger" Dawson burp the games over McFarland and his #2.

Better physically and more instinctual, sure maybe but Vilma was one of the best field generals we've had, best since Mills at reading offenses and realigning our defense to match.

Re: Observations from the Saints' win against the Colts

Quick Hits
  • While the Career PaTd record falling was getting all the headlines, Brees snuck in the best single game completion record, perhaps the best regular season performance in NFL history...

  • Watch Mike Thomas run vertical routes, out routes, crossing routes when McFarland tried to suggest Thomas would just run in routes was humorous and annoying at the same time...

  • Taysom Hill running the Lance Moore/Willie Snead underneath drag route tonight will be something to look forward to on 3rd and distance, red zone plays the coming weeks...

  • We scored on every drive that Murray got at least two touches and Payton needs to recognize and ingrain that into his play-calling for the rest of the season and in the Tournament...

  • Said this during the in-game conversation and I'll say it again, I'm not worried about re-signing Vonn Bell because Gardner will be an upgrade at the position...

  • Know we picked up Jenkins, but I still wanna see the Eli Apple we saw the first half of this season; Coach Glenn has got to fix this regression and not lose another like Ken Crawley...

  • We did all this tonight losing two more starting offensive linemen; we'd better get these guys back healthy for the playoffs for sure, but we'll need them versus Tennessee on the road...

  • Did Jared Cook come back too soon from the Concussion Protocol? he had some of his most impressive catches of the season, but he's showing his age with the frequent injuries now...

  • Must be the Christmas memories of sweets dancing in my thoughts, but can you imagine how good our total LBer corps is gonna be when they're all healthy? Demario was a beast in coverage...

  • Call Borden Milk and tell them they can take Tre'Quan Smith off the back of the cartons, at least for a week, even if his catches against the body were less than ideal; and that wasn't Offensive PI...

  • Other than San Fran, I like what Trey Hendrickson can bring opposite Cam and with David Onyemata, who's always been better IMO than Rankins, bringing it up the gut; Tuttle has a quiet solid game...

  • Some questioned it, but I thought Murray on the screens was terrific, showing great awareness, using his blockers smartly; not Pierre Thomas good, but effective nonetheless, Sean...

  • Indy's Defense was shredded tonight, but they seemed to have an answer for Kamara, same as San Fran had last week; blowing him up more than I'd care to see...

  • With Jared Cook out, we were down to one Tight End in Josh Hill and one Swiss Army Knife in Taysom Hill, who looks like our best option in the slot not named Mike Thomas...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Taysom looked great on that drag route. TreQuan played well and had the 2nd TD catch taken away from him. The defense played great; D Davis is such an animal.

Kind of wish Brees could have gone 30 for 30. I reckon that'd feel like bowling a 300 game.

I never understood why they don’t line him up at TE/WR on a more permanent basis . They pretty much have him figured out when he runs but he catches everything thrown his way and then some. He is our answer to our WR “problem”.

Our WRs really stepped up even Ginn caught one, nice to see we are spreading the ball around. Maybe Brees is finally starting to trust these guys after missing 5 games and getting a late start on the season.

CGJ makes Bell expendable. He’s picking it up quickly without a lot of growing pains.

Our depth on the defensive line wasn’t just lip service.

I was right when I posted “Brees is done” earlier in the season but we just have to bump it up in a couple more years.

It's been 8 years. How long is Roger going to hold a grudge?
