this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Dear God Vikings. You know what though... so we end up hosting the Vikings in the Wild Card round. Is that such a bad thing?...

We need one of the byes to rest up. I think it would be too hard for the Saints to try to get to the SB from the wild card.

Thereís still the Seahawks-49ers game next week to help us get that #2 seed. I donít see the Vikings pulling this one out.

Re: Packers @ Vikings

Now that I’m thinking about it, if we end up the #3 seed we’ll host the Vikings and then go to Green Bay. Watching these teams play tonight... That’s not a hard path to the NFC Championship game.

I'm not excited about our team potentially having to go play on a snowy, icy Lambeau Field in January.

Itís not going to be too bad in Green Bay that weekend. Probably around 30 degrees. Weather shouldnít be much of a factor.

Re: Packers @ Vikings

I think our team has a solid core. I've watched Pittsburgh go all the way from wild card. That's where we are, we have some excellent leaders on both sides of the ball who want to will their way to a SuperBowl.
