Saints vs. Titans Game Day Thread

1 Attachment(s)
This Saints-Titans matchup could be quite the show.

With Drew Brees and Ryan Tannehill, it's the first time since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978 that two starting quarterbacks with a passer rating of 114 or better have played this late in the season, though Patrick Mahomes and Philip Rivers came close last season in Week 15.

Brees is the league leader in both passer rating and completion percentage (115.3 rating and 75.8%) just ahead of Tannehill (114.6 rating and 71.5%). Brees and the Saints are chasing a first-round bye to go with their NFC South title.

See below for more details on this late-season NFC-AFC matchup with playoff implications for both teams.

So it looks like CJGJ gets the start again at SS, but man we’re thin at safety. It’s Marcus Williams and CJGJ with only JT Gray backing them up.

Didn't we sign Swearinger for that reason?

Eventually ... or possibly. I think he was more insurance if absolutely needed.

Yeah, I was talking about insurance. Our rookie looks good but he makes a lot of mental mistakes which explains his bad interviews. He may be a heck of a football player but he might not be that smart. He makes too many dumb mistakes. He could be the future but it's too early to tell. Vonn Bell ain't no slouch either but we've got a lot of contracts coming up..

Great. The Saints are on a rare regional broadcast viewable in OH...and don’t you know, 30 minutes before kickoff, Spectrum has technical issues in my area.

Comon Rog, give a Saints fan a break.

It's a Jerome Boger crew; one of the worst if not the worst referee in the league

CJGJ ate a nice face full of dirt on that weak tackle attempt. I knew we shouldn’t take this game lightly.

Klein is a liability in coverage.

TE goes uncovered.

Fix it.

What a horrible attempt at a tackle by CGJ...he completely sold out on that tackle. If we can’t stop the pass today we are going to be in trouble.
