Another vote for that one. Why don't they have all the BYES between Weeks 9-10, and just have your marquee match-ups alternating those two weeks? Even if it were Weeks 8-11 would be better...

If we are going to clump it together, why not push it out a little further? Assuming an 8 game stretch is where attrition starts to take its toll, bye weeks between 9-11 would put the second 8 game stretch right in the playoffs/SB.

Sprinkling the Byes through weeks 13-15 would give the chance to have the best product on the field for playoffs and the Super Bowl? Like a 7th inning stretch in baseball.
