The article is obviously kidding. Sherels and Murray? Saints have let go of players way more valuable than those two.

As for the PI, it was the worse non call of all time and nobody disputes it..meh. The NFL had to do something because it was out of control and was ruining the game.

Consider how Saints fans feel...



1) 2009 playoffs you say??? How about 2017 playoffs? We got screwed over in spades - more than even.


2) 1987 playoffs - a very disappointing end to a magical season. We got lousy seeding, thanks in large part to a loss to SF - sound familiar?


3) 2000 playoffs - Playoffs ended in Minny. Remember Cris Carter talking smack with Jim Haslett?


4) 2008 regular season - Reggie takes TWO kicks to the house and we STILL lost!!! I kicked the closet door (and cracked it) in my apartment and broke my DTV record when it flew across the room. HATED that game.


5) PURPLE??? WHAT SELF-RESPECTING group of football players wears PURPLE (unless it is mixed with gold of course)


6-15) Vikings are 22-12 against us so we owe them 10 arse whoopins

Actually the #1 reason should be it was in New Orleans that their string of Failures started. Super Bowl IV!!!

If memory serves me correctly they sent us two first round picks for QB Gary Cuozzo.

As I've been following the Vikes for a long time and been a fan of them of sorts - I can say that they have some great people supporting them, but they also have not so great fans as well (like all teams, Saints included).

As frustrating as the Saints' earlier history was, the Vikes, to my knowledge, are the oldest franchise to not having won the SB. They've had some heartbreaking losses in the SB and rarely seem to catch a break (excluding the miracle).

I dislike the crying some of their fanbase still carries on about 2009, but the intelligent fans over there understand that they were simply outplayed.
