Still believe Onyemata is a better, more reliable, available, DT3 than Rankins, but not having Davenport really hurt; and having two first round picks on IR doesn't get it done in the playoffs...
One more thought on Davenport, it's not on him he was hurt, it was the foolishness in putting two picks into one player when Jeff Ireland has shown he can get it done when he's got the bullets...
Transitioning on that thought, Gardner really stepped up as a rookie and while McCoy played to his billing, Gardener was a gift falling to us, along with Shy Tuttle, who's gonna be big for us...
It's time for offensive line changes; Ramczyk was All-Pro; if McCoy's on a larger market team, he'd be All-Pro; but the rest of these over-paid clowns didn't gave little return on their investment...
We didn't realize it, but the death-blow was not making a WR deal at the trade deadline (KMajor); am told DEN asked for more from NO than SF; no surprise with Payton's reputation on overpaying...
Drew didn't seem to have the same energy, concentration, poise today - it happens; should he shut it down, it'll be a sad commentary on Payton not bringing home more Lombardi hardware with Brees at QB...
Lastly, there are are many QB with diverse strengths - runners, passers; but very few inspire teammates in the heat of battle the way Taysom Hill does; If Brees retires, Taysom should be our guy...

I wonder if SP will hear it from the meat guy at WholeFoods or if he's even worried about his meat?

Im still with Payton and I hope Brees comes back but even next year we are going to have to blow these teams out to win it all. I think Gaurd and WR are our most glaring needs. Jenkins played his ass off and I hope we can keep him.

13-3 season. That is big. A big season. It feels like a loss to not go just to next week in playoffs.

I did as well as Smash starting way back @ training camp. There is no way Peat should return. He's a liability and weak link on the line. Easton picked up the slack while Peat was injured and didn't miss a beat. Wouldn't call Andrus a bust, however he's been a very underwhelming player considering where he was drafted.

I expect his position to be addressed in the off season.

- Out coached.
- Out played.
- Ref's and NFL got the last laugh.

- Payton continues to not run the ball and will always have a couple failures with clock management. If Dallas wants him and/or he's interested, the Saints should let him walk for a couple draft picks. Hire Campbell as the next Head Coach.
- If Brees wants to return, he absolutely should. Yes, his arm strength has diminished. Yes, he will be a year older. He's still one of the best. He's a great leader. He's a fierce competitor. He is and will be a drivng force for the Saints as long as he suits up.
- If Brees walks, let the T. Hill era happily begin. He's a beast. He has "it" as they say. Without him yesterday, and the season, the Saints would have most likely fell shorter. He deserves to be paid.
- Harris is a beast. Every effort should be made to make him, teach him, train him, and scheme him into a WR weapon.
- To save money and other reasons, Bridgewater, Peat, Ginn, Apple, Rankins, Robinson, Williams and Klien should all be allowed to move on.

- The Ref's AND the NFL did not like/support the rule change on PI. They were forced into it by the public and fans who want to see legit wrongs corrected and the outcome of games decided by players on the field. Why would the ref's AND the NFL not want to get it right? The ONLY legit reason for that is the ref's, supported by the NFL, have an interest in deciding the outcomes of games in regards to the winner and the line. Simple as that.
- Win or lose, I'm a Saints fan for life. I will watch until they plant me. But, the NFL is making me less interested and making the experience less fun.
