Re: Alvin Kamara
There’s no doubt the guy were injured for a while But if he wasn’t injured in the last 4 games? And made a business decision then what . I know what. Payton knows what.

Re: Alvin Kamara
My belief is AK will be traded during the draft. I doubt the Saints would get a 1st round pick for him, but I can see the Saints using him to move up a few spots in the 1st round and gaining an additional pick or 2 later in the draft. I am predicting this because I do not think AK will play in 2020 under his current contract terms, and I do not believe the Saints will pay 15+ mil per season, which should be his approximate market value.

Re: Alvin Kamara
Let him play under his contract in 2020. If he has a great year and shows he is special than sign him to a 15m per year deal.
RBs are not worth much in this league. It's all about scheme and O-line. Although, if AK holds out this year, cut him (if the dead money makes sense) or let him hold out and walk in 2021. Edit: There is no doubt AK was making business decisions this year. Even in the playoffs the guy was running out of bounds instead of fighting for yards on 3rd down. If he is doing that during such a critical time, he will be worthless once he signs a big deal. |
The Saints are 0-42 when running the ball less than 15 times in a game.

Re: Alvin Kamara
I think when it's all said and done he won't be traded, but there is that small possibility this is another Brandin Cooks situation. Cooke wasn't happy with his role but the Saints also made the deal in part because he was due a substantial pay raise the next year.

Re: Alvin Kamara
The vast majority of you know more about football than I could ever learn yet it blows my mind that some of you otherwise rational and intelligent people don’t account for the fact he got injured early in the preseason.
He didn’t just all of a sudden start to suck or decide not to give 100%. Dude was hurt all year and still broke 1000 yds. Letting him go based on this year would be a mistake. |

Re: Alvin Kamara
Wouldn't be surprised to see Kamara hold out for a new contract this off season.
