FWIW, several mocks being published have him going at the back-end of the second round now; it will be interesting to see how teams approach and manage the draft under these circumstances...

The prospects with the shady medical questions are the ones who will see their draft stock plummet unless a team already has good information on their medical outlook...

I'm on the record as loving Mims as WR and Claypool as a Jared Cook type TE.

Denzel Mims would probably get a lot more "hype" if he went to a bigger named football program.

He ran a stupid 40 time at the combine, good broad jump but his Baylor game tape tells the true story. Solid blocker & has terrific hands … as I like to say of Mike Thomas they are "violent".

I think Mims is gone Day 1, but definitely no later than Day 2 for sure.

I'm starting to agree with a lot of scouts .. the 2020 WR class is DEEP all the way to round 3 & 4.

Yeah, way back before the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Bowl, Mims had a fourth/fifth round grade, which I felt was too low and made an ideal target for us...

Since, his stock has blown up; but then I read this NFL.com scouting report, laughed, and now shared...

Oooff  …

Maybe I should retract my previous statement

I think Mims will become a much better Pro WR than 3quan Smith.

Okay, so if A.J. is there, it'd be tough, but I'd take him before Jalen Reagor, now that we've Emmanuel Sanders in the Black and Gold; all things being equal, take Jim Finks' advice and take the bigger player...

That said, Antonio Gibson could fall to Round 3, and that's where I'd pull the trigger with him...

Jedrick Wills - OL Alabama …

Probably a top 15 pick.

We're all valid and all have valid opinions; and who's to say Lance Zierlein is right; heck, I kept arguing with some of the Saints Media guys that Onyemata would be kept (and they're paid to know better than me)...

Just posted it because of the humourous irony - and thought of my Bro and how he'd have to grin when seeing it...

Keep an eye on Memphis WR/RB Antonio Gibson; another Steve Smith-type of WR...
