Re: 2020 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
Yet what has killed us according to some was the lack of discipline in the secondary in the playoffs. Jenkins has those leadership qualities and 32 isn't old when we are in it to win it now. We brought in some veterans that helped us win it all in 2009-10. Maybe we need the same input today.

Vonn Bell messed up. We offered him more but he big-timed us. |

Jamal Adams was the SS for the AFC. He had an 88.2. Harrison Smith was the NFC guy. 89.8 Bell wasn’t anywhere near that ball park. Malcolm Jenkins ended up with a 68.6. Not particularly great either, but better than Bell. CJG had a 72.6 though. Now that’s what I call an ascending young player. These grades aren’t everything, but they do tend to tell a pretty good story. |

On the plus side, the Vonn Bell signing should net us a 6th round comp pick. So that makes a 3rd rounder for Bridgewater and 6th for Bell!

Re: 2020 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
You don’t take less to sign with a team like the Bengals. We offered him an amount and he declined because he thought he could get more. Saints didn’t have time so they signed Jenkins. Bell finally realizes he messed up and wasn’t worth more than what the Saints offered and has to sign for less with Cinci.

Signing Onyemata was all about being available; we've got to get even more physical on that defensive line; we should be banging up their line, not the other way around... Frisco flat out whipped us physically in our house last year, that can never happen again if we want to be taken seriously as contenders and not relegated to Mora Mediocrity... |
