I want one of the AFC teams to win the Super Bowl

I don't think I could stand the sports talking heads ball-gargling Rodgers if he wins another Super Bowl before Brees.

It goes without saying why I don't any of the remaining NFC teams to win it all, although I could stand Wilson with another ring.

Be good to see Ingram get a ring.

KC, I would love to see Reid finally get a ring. Really a great coach with bad luck...... so far ?

Pulling for the Vikings. Lots of family members are fans, and they might as well make the most of our playoff spot!

Chiefs or Titans would also be cool.

Titans, that's the ticket. And now that I've said that, they'll get blasted out of the tournament...

Would like to see the Texans knock off the Chiefs, though I do like Andy Reid...

Titans vs Vikings, Titans win it all, that way I can troll the Vikings fans for some much-deserved payback...

I wouldn't be upset to see Seattle win it this year. Russel Wilson is a class guy and wouldn't mind seeing him win one without the Legion of Boom taking the credit.

Other than that, I'd be happy for Mark Ingram if the Ravens got him a ring.

I'm with you. I'm OK with either KC (get the monkey off Reid's back) or the Ravens (for Ingram), Tennessee wouldn't bother me either, neutral there. Don't hate Minnesota, but don't like Cousins, and don't want him to get a ring. Never could root for the Whiners for anything but a plane wreck. Don't mind Russell, but hate Pete, I was in LA when he torpedoed USC then ran off scott free. F Rodgers and his agents.

Re: I want one of the AFC teams to win the Super Bowl

I would prefer seeing the Chiefs win it all. It would be good for the league too knowing they have Mahomes and we need to start moving on from the generation of old man QBs (Brady, Brees, Rodgers) who are past their prime yet everyone argues they are the GOAT or whatever.

K.C. is a long snake-bitten franchise. While we have the biggest persecution complex of all NFL teams and think everyone is out to get us and conspiracies are had to explain why Payton gets out-coached and our QB screws up in the playoffs, the Chiefs haven't won a SB in over 50 years and their playoff losses have been more agonizing than ours solely for that reason.

If you think our playoff losses are bad in this decade, go through K.C's 90s playoff losses. Most of them were at Arrowhead and they lost on flukey stuff with some of their franchise best teams not even winning a single playoff game. They were a legit SB contender in 1995 and 1997 and both of those seasons were lost due to missed field goals. Unlike us, their fans don't have a recent SB to fall back on and cherish the memories.

I don't trust Andy Reid though. His clock management vs the pats last year shows he still hasn't figured out how to fix this. I believe they actually match up well with Baltimore though and could engage them in a shoot out, but Reid will screw that up.

Brady, Brees and Rodgers all going one and done in the same year would be hilarious and well deserved.

Kidding aside, that's my single biggest issue with Stinky Pete as well; but I've so enjoyed his very public coaching meltdowns (e.g. 1 yd out and called a pass play, intercepted, instead of Beastmode)...

Andddddd he did it again in week 17. Took a delay of game penalty and backed them up, forcing 4 passes from Wilson to the end zone.

I'm glad the Patriots beat them in that SB. The Seahawks would've become the first NFC team since the 90s Cowboys to win back to back SBs. Their bandwagon was already unbearable up to that point. The Pats did us a favor, just like they did when they ended the GSOT Rams, beat the Cinderella Panthers, 28-3 Falcons and beat the Rams again.

Make that two. I could give two ****s about football at this point. BUT My top ten hate list had to be reshuffled this year:

1. Cow*******
2. Vikequeens
3. Niners
4. Rams
5. Seahawks
6. Packers
7. Patriots
8. Failclowns
9. Panthers
10. Bucs

If a team is one of these in the playoffs they get **** in a bag for my support.

Chiefs/Ravens ... toss up right there however I do believe the Niners will win it all.

Side note - Spaggs has surprisingly (at least for me) gotten that D to play some respectable football.

Yeah, I didn't buy Spagnola as the next coming that Payton proclaimed; but to be fair, he came in just as Payton rec'd the BountyGate Beatdown and the talent simply wasn't there...

But he's a capable, competent DC who can definitely manage a talented defense, in much the same way as KC Jones was a cruise director for Bird's Celtics...

Very well done.

You know, the more I think about it, despite the regional rivalry, DeShaun Watson has showed time and again, like J.J. Watt that he's a class act...

Still remember Watson giving up a game check to three cafeteria workers wiped out by H. Harvey; wouldn't bother me if DeShaun and J.J. picked up rings...

I have never believed Spags was the problem with that 2012 team.

He came in and tried to change the culture we had in the locker room that was from Gregg Williams. As much as this fan base loves and worships GW, he didn't really build us a great defense. Most of the 2009 squad relied on veteran leadership (Fujita, Shanle, Vilma) and Darren Sharper, who would probably be a HoFer today if he wasn't responsible for horrible crimes. Most of the guys GW drafted, really didn't do much outside of Cam Jordan and Gallette who turned out to be a major locker room cancer.

The team mutinied and gave up on Spags. This was consistent with reports coming out of them not being happy in the locker room. They suddenly had a coach who wanted to install discipline on the defense, change scheme and also change the culture of the locker room. That bothered them.

Payton responded by hiring a clone of Gregg Williams in Rob Ryan who wanted to be their friend and let them do whatever they want. This had disastrous results.

In a way, this has been our problem on defense in recent years too. Payton brought in Dennis Allen, who should've been fired after 2016 when he fielded back to back historically bad defenses. In 2 of our last 3 playoff exits, Allen's defense has been torched.

I still hold by my opinion that I REALLY wanted Wade Phillips in 2016 and would still take him. He got his career start here in New Orleans under his father Bum, and Wade's defenses in L.A. may have been disappointing but they had their moments. He'd be an upgrade over Allen regardless.

Not to get off subject, but 2012 to me is the most wasted Saints season in the Payton/Brees era. Fans talk about 2011 but we were beating up on cupcake teams that year and running up scores and padding the stats. At the end of 2011, I felt like next year was going to be our year to make it back. We went on to average 28.5 points a game in 2012 and the offense was still rolling hot. The problem was defense being historically bad and I don't think even with Payton that year we finish better than 7-9. They lost a number of close games they should've won if not for some boneheaded, situational football decisions.

Don't know how any of those teams can be ahead of the Falcons, but it's your opinion.

I've never hated the Packers and I don't think we even have close to a rivalry at all with them. I don't like Aaron Rodgers cause he's a douche, but Green Bay has been one of the most interesting teams in NFL history. Researching them over the years has been a lot of fun.

I really don't understand why a lot of Saints fans hate the Pats.

Most of this fan base lives in La La Land with conspiracy theories and crap about Goodell. Go talk to Pats fans, hell I spend most of my time on their forums. They've calmed down incredibly over the past few years, but after the silly "Deflategate" nonsense, they sounded just like us with the Goodell stuff. Only difference is, they'll actually criticize Brady for playing poorly in a big game, or Bill B having a few bad years as GM (Many of their fans right now are upset that he put together a weak supporting cast on offense). That's something a lot of us won't do, as we opt out for blaming refs, Goodell and saying we got robbed.

New England has stopped most of our rivals from winning SBs - Rams twice, Panthers and Falcons. For that alone, I don't mind them much. When they came back from the 28-3 deficit to stop the Falcons from hoisting a Lombardi, that was enough for me.

Green Bay and Kansas City are two "SMALL MARKET" teams!!!

EGGSPURTS know the NFL won't stand for that!!!

After all they were the very same two teams in Super Bowl I!!!!

Green Bay won the first two, that's why no one pays attention to the game today!!!

As frustrated as we are with our Saints blowing it the playoffs, at least we are not Baltimore.

Such frauds. Lamar Jackson really is Michael Vick 2.0. Cannot believe this team was favored so much. FiveThirtyEight gave them a 47% overall to win the SB. Double the number for the 2nd and 3rd place teams behind them on ELO which was the Niners and Chiefs.

So. I'd take Drew at 41 over Jackson at 23. The way Jackson runs the ball, he won't last as long as Drew. There is a reason why those kind of mobile QBs don't win SBs.

That is until he gets injured by running around. The Titans brought the heat and were punishing him for running around. QBs still haven't learned from Steve Young's injury history.

Lamar Jackson throws some seriously, ugly wobbly passes.

I could be wrong though. Mike Vick did become a pretty good passer when Andy Reid was able to work with him in Philly. Jackson has always given me the impression of a poor man's Vick.
