Re: USA Today/Saints Wire: Sean Payton trusting Drew Brees' judgment in whether to return for 2020
Drew won't retire this year! Did you see the look in his eyes when he was injured. He was pacing the sidelines like he was a caged animal. The will to win is obviously still there. He's got more records to break and a Saints team to lead to the promised land one more time.

Re: USA Today/Saints Wire: Sean Payton trusting Drew Brees' judgment in whether to return for 2020
He's waiting to see if Brady will retire, then he'll decide to come back.
We're going to let Bridgewater walk, overpay Brees then bring back Taysom Hill as the future... This won't work out in the long run. After last night, I wish we lived in some alternate universe where we could've drafted Mahomes. We'd be set for the future. Oh well, god have mercy on whatever hapless team comes into the dome for another meaningless record to break. We show up for those games. If only we could show up in the playoffs... |
