Definitely on the KC wagon. I'm going to a party at a friends house who's from KC so mark me safe from all the whiners fans.

If they're legit KC fans, the Tailgating/BBQ food should be good...

Not watching the game, family illness, hospitalized in New Orleans, but I am pulling for Andy Reid...

This year’s SB should be a really good, even matched one. SF Defense , 2nd in NFL league.
KCC and Mahomes last year up to AFC Champ and Mahomes could be today youngest SB qb to win. KCC is the come back from behind team.
Exciting.
You never know . It could be a lopsided game.
It could go down to The the wire.

Both teams are very equally match in many areas so here is hoping it is a true match today and a good game.

Has the ear markings for a real Donnybrook. Hopefully it lives up to the billing. Although I’m pulling for the Chiefs, don’t really care....I will be pulling for K. Bourne, the WR from SF, who came from Eastern Washington U. my old alma matter. Hard to believe niners has to 2 wr’s from Eastern, and of course Kupp from Rams. Was a good run of receivers from the small school in Eastern Washington. Sorry for the side bar, not very often our school has a player make it.

If the Saints could light up the 49ers, you know Andy Reid watched that film aplenty...

Difference will be Mahomes mobilty...

Too bad this game not on CBS. Should be a great game,
but will be hard to listen to w/ Buck & Yuck.

Not gonna watch. I already know who's gonna win https://ar15armory.com/forums/upload...default_tf.gif, so I have zero interest in watching.

I'm with Smash on this.

I don't get the hate on the FOX crew. When I watch a football game the announcers on any channel are just background noise giving some added info. What's with the hate?

Maybe the annoucers are better on CBS?

I don't see why any are bad. They are announcing a game we all love. Hating on them seems pretty petty. I really see no difference between any of them. I am watching the game. Not dwelling on what a play by play guy or a color guy might say. who cares? What's the difference?

AsylumGuido 02-02-2020 04:09 PM

Re: Super Bowl Game Day Thread

All that said, when it comes to radio it DOES make a difference, but on TV, who the hell should care. Don't get it.

Better how? And why should that affect your ability to watch and enjoy the game?

I want Chiefs to win, they are overdue for all those tough years and frankly, 9ers fans are completely obnoxious. All this 9er faithful stuff conveniently raises its head when they finally return to relevancy, nowhere to be seen in their down years.

Same here, but if for some reason the 49er's do win then it means that the 49er's, the Steelers, and the Patriots will all have more Super Bowl wins than the Cowboys so when those obnoxious cowpatty fans try to throw out the fact that they have "Five Rings" we can point out the obvious.

With these stout defenses we may be in for a slug fest tonight with many more field goals than Touch downs. I anticipate a fairly low scoring game but I'm also hoping for a shootout.

Oh, and by the way the announcers on Fox must attend a class to ensure that they are monotone with zero enthusiasm or real football information. Because they are really hard to listen to for very long. Give me someone like Gruden or Madden with a zest for football!

Regardless, Who Dat! :bng:

They still may. But they are moving the ball on the trick plays.

Same here, but if the Niners win then they have more Super Bowl wins than the Cowgirls. Win/win.

Damien Williams seems to remind me a lot of Pierre Thomas. Sturdy reliable runner.

Re: Super Bowl Game Day Thread

The NFL and the networks already have a hard-on for Mahomes (I hate to even say that name.) If KC wins, we’ll NEVER hear the end of it. They’ll automatically induct Mahomes into the HOF. Soo, if I have to root for a team, it would have to be SF. But I know, the NFL would never allow a SF win.
Yes, I’m wearing my tin foil hat. LOL

That flagged "push off" by Kittles … reminded me of the non call by Rudolph in the end zone vs Saints wildcard game.

Re: Super Bowl Game Day Thread

KC got away with a serious hold in the end zone. Should have been a safety and a turnover to SF.

In the city all day visiting at the hospital and got home with just under 10:00 left in the game is what I expected the whole game...

Happy for Andy Reid - the man always handled his business with dignity and class and His teams are always in it...

There's no way our defense holds that offense that late into the fourth quarter...

Extra sweet to see the 49ers lose - old divisional rival hatred never dies...

That a boy Tyrann... from the bottom to the top.

There isn’t a more iconic duo than Kyle Shanahan and blowing double digit leads in Super Bowls.

He called a pretty good game on defense, hid KC's weaknesses.

Because no one wants to. Awful here and went on to win SB on coaching staff.

I can live with KCC and Mahomes winning. I had hoped they would. KCC long suffering, faithful fans. Early team of the NFL.
Tyran M. Honey Badger from LSU got a SB.
Strange story. Life takes weird turns. Spags and Matthews.

All those years cheering for SF 49ers ( Montana years and Young too) in SB because , well, who else were we Saints fans were going to cheer for.
It was ranked every year SF49ers , L.A. Rams, Atl Falcons, and. then and then New Orleans Saints in our little division back then.
