I'd like to add another veteran pass rusher to the mix. Jimmy G/Cousins had too much time to go through their progressions.

Davenport is good when he plays but his inability to stay healthy late has cost us. Guys behind him are still unknowns.

Well, it's my belief that's what Baun is supposed to bring - Consider this 3-4/Nascar front:

RDE 92 - Marcus Davenport, 98 - Sheldon Rankins

NT 93 - David Onyemata, 90 - Malcolm Brown

LDE 94 - Cam Jordan, 99 - Shy Tuttle

ROLB 00 - Zach Baun (R3P10, #74), 91 - Trey Hendrickson

RILB 56 - DeMario Davis, 52 - Craig Robertson

LILB (2) 54 - Kiko Alonso, 55 - Kaden Elliss

LOLB (2) 47 - Alex Anzalone

Can see situation where we show our base/nickel, then at some point switching to this personnel package to keep the opponent off-balance...

Comparable to boxer suddenly switching to southpaw...

Believe when play starts, Anzalone will kick inside at the MIKE and Kiko Alonso will be your SAM, with Baun learning from him...

Anzalone's health, re-signing status will be a topic for evaluation this coming season...
