WR-S (2) 80 - Austin Carr (FA 2020), 81 - Krishawn Hogan, 84 - Lil’Jordan Humphrey, 00 - Marquez Callaway (UDFA 2020), 00 - Juwan Johnson (UDFA 2020)

Can Southlake (Humphrey) step up his game in 2020? How about Callaway? Or sleeper Juwan Johnson?

I'll take anyone of these guys over Austin one reception Carr.

The last two years, we've moved another X-receiver onto the field and moved @CantGuardMike into the slot just to get production out of that area...

Not replacing Snead before letting Snead geaux, not so good...

K - are u guys baiting me up on this Austin Carr BS . The reason Carr and TLL are back in the fold is because of ties to the NFL fraternity that they take care of family of favors from bill parcells to Megan Payton , it is what it is like the Tracy Lawrence song - I was up for a promotion but the bosses little brother got the call

IDK St Thomas ...

Austin will be a camp beast then flame out again this season. His biggest supporter is Brees (talked him up last training camp) yet he flamed out in 2019. Maybe Tre Smith steps up in a big way? Or maybe a undrafted guy?

Insanity. Resigning the same players that didn't work out last season again this season.

I really think a big reason for this is the shortened off-season. Having players in place that already know the system, whether or not they make the final roster, can be more important this year than a slight upgrade with no familiarity with the system.

Payton has been particularly OCD when it comes to the crispness and flow of practices and having more veterans familiar with the offensive vernacular, drills, routine eases that concern...
