Re: Sproles Says He Deserves to be in the HOF
Today's voters don't care, but old school voters like a little humility in HOF candidates...
As much as I loved him as a Saint, and those incredible seasons of all-purpose yards he had, his elite production was limited to just a couple of seasons... If I had a vote, it'd hurt, but I just couldn't give him a vote, despite the lowered bar for many inductees lately; Sproles had a HOF Heart, not a HOF career... |

Re: Sproles Says He Deserves to be in the HOF
Likely not. Michael Lewis is 3rd on single season APR and about 50 yds behind him. At first glance I said yes off that one stat but Lewis is right behind him and he will never smell the Hall of Fame.
Good career but his body of work over a long career is not that impressive. A good scatback with really one stellar season on an offensive juggernaunt team and less to do with pure skill. |

I'm voting yes. He played well before he come to the Saints, we got him just before he started to decline and Philly used him well after that, I think he squeezes in.

Well, he was prompted, didn’t get all ugly about it.
I still think no HOF though |
