Depending on spottrac or over the cap, we have between $8 and 9 million available.

Knowing that we’ll likely have an extra 3rd rounder next year tells me we’re probably going to use it to trade up this year.

If Drew stays another year as well as this year then I could see us going after a player we covet and use multiple draft picks to get the deal done. If this is Drew's last year then I believe that we'll stock up on draft picks for a mini makeover. When Sean came to town he traded down to get additional draft picks to build his team. Recently they seem to target a player and go get him to fill a few needs or wants. We'll see how he plays this. |
