At what point would any of you feel comfortable rolling the dice on Zack Baun?

I know he had the diluted sample and all, and he isn't ideal size but so what, neither are a lotta guys who end up having great careers

He’d be a very nice fit as a Sam LB with stand-up edge rush ability.

Chris and I were discussing this the other day...

I don't feel he can hold the edge as a defensive end and he's better suited in a 3-4 front...

Chris has argued he'd had enough quickness shown that he could cover as a LBer...

But my issue (and it's a part of the game that I miss) is that the LBer position, role has been greatly reduced as today's game sees so many 3-4 WR fronts and nickel/dime counter moves...

I see where you're coming from, and while I would agree with Chris that I think he could absolutely play SAM, it is a pass happy league. But, I think he could still be an asset in different rush packages, and I'd be cool with spending a third on a guy like that. Especially if he's productive and I think he will be.
