Sanders killed us, Brother...

He was in Denver to start the year and was traded before they made the change to Lock; then he was with a new team mid-late season, so that should be factored...

Look, am willing to give him the benefit; you're right that he's had some late career injury history, but let's see this string out; besides, no one else has stepped up, so it is what it is...

Said it in another post, whatever got in Payton's craw, we shouldn't have let Willie Snead go till we knew we had his replacement...

Made the same mistake with several, including, but not limited to Akiem Hicks, Darren Sproles, Rob Ninkovich, among others...

And then there's the appearance of double standards re: injured players, some players seem to get a pass, some don't and are bitter about it...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

I was watching a 2019 replay of the Niners vs Rams on Sat. EVERYTHING was still on the line for both teams .. Niners trying to secure home field and the Rams trying to keep their playoffs alive.

Game was tied I think @ 31 - 31 ... Niners driving and guess who broke the camel's back in that game on a 30+ yard bomb/completion? Emmanuel Sanders bailed out Jimmy G and subsequent game winner.

Just a week or two earlier, guess who destroyed the Saints secondary?

Sanders. He even threw a TD in that game to kill us .

C'mon Beast, this dude continues to be a game changer in meaningful games. He balls no matter the situation, scheme or team.

Well, the post read receivers, not specifically wide receivers, so with that in mind, and some others addressed it as well, I noticed in those posts there was no mention of Cook...

If Dan Campbell can get some work in with the rookie Adam Trautman, I wouldn't be surprised to see rookie used in the slot opposite Cookie, leaving @CantGuardMike to draw their best CB and a safety...

See a lot of seam routes and double post-ups coming this season; a guard isn't stopping a power forward in the paint...

And with our new offensive line, we likely won't need to keep a TE in to help block - so it's damn the torpedoes, expose those safeties and small CBs...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

I'm really curious to see Adam Trautman as well.

I wonder if this spells the end for Josh Hill?

More than likely, the other TE, Garrett.

Everyone has their own opinions...

I just can't see anyone beating out Sanders for the #2WR spot. Sanders is not only a lock, but he should play well with Brees.

Really Beast, who do you think beats out Sanders? Smith? Carr lol?

We have Sanders and Thomas, everyone else is a practice squad WR on most teams.

I did not include the tight ends or running backs in the list. I mentioned that in the fine print. As for Sanders I wrote the wrong last name and have since fixed it. Thanks.

I don't know what to expect from Emmanuel Butler though.

He was a 2019 training camp beast. The likes of Bobby Hebert and Swilling were talking about him in high regard then an injury set him back ... faded.

Hopefully year #2 he shines.

Thomas and Sanders are the only "locks" as far as I'm concerned.

Trequan Smith is shaky at best. Hadn't played well and this is year 3 in the Saints offensive system.

IMO Tommy Lee and Austin "one reception" Carr are wasted roster spots. Hell I would at least invite Dez Bryant to camp. He's a vet, experienced and proven.
