Re: Clowney to Saints?
I’ve heard the rumbling. Would love to have him on a one year prove it deal.

Re: Clowney to Saints?
While he is good, I've always felt like he's played under his overall potential to a significant degree.

Re: Clowney to Saints?
Signing Clowney means there's no faith from the front office in Davenport; and if that's the case, why didn't we draft a defensive end in the draft if there's no faith in Davenport?
I'm not buying the Saints have legitimate interest in Clowney... |

Now it's been reported that JC's camp turned down a very lucrative deal with the Cleveland Browns . Personally, I hope the Saints can restructure a few contracts in order to bring in Everson Griffen for 2020. This guy is an absolute dawg that would strengthen our pass rush. It's really no secret that the Saints love former Vikings players. |

Bottom line, Davenport must stay relatively healthy in 2020 and produce. |

Re: Clowney to Saints?
So the hope is with two guys that can't stay healthy one of them is available at all times? Or they think with a rotation both will stay healthy?
I get Davenport has had some health issues that have kept him off the field. However so has Clowney, don't get me wrong I think he can help us, but for how long? What do we do if both of them are down now that we don't have Spence? Hope one stays healthy enough until he can come back? |
