2009 was a special season. I'm thankful I got to witness it before the world went completely batsh*t crazy.
And here's some advise to any of you that by some stroke of luck you become a multi-millionaire, just because you have a platform doesn't mean you should always use it. Especially if there's a chance you're going to alienate 1/2 the people that got you where you are by spouting your ill-advised opinions. Singers, shut up & sing. Players, shut up & play. Actors, shut up & act. And yes coaches, STFU and coach.

Just sickening how some of you think. To justify murder cause it fit your political agenda. This country is on the verge of looking like a 3rd world country cause some of you not showing any sympathy or empathy. Eventually, black men and women won’t be looking for equality but revenge. The sad thing is some of the whites will be battling with the blacks against some of you racist. America don’t need this, look at Israel and Palestine. The best thing is to look at issues at both angles not be one sided or closed mine. We can overcome this, when, which I hate to say WHITES stop believing this is their country and they built this democracy alone. Whites are just as much of immigrants as Mexican. No race is above the other and skin tone don’t make you more likely to steal, kill, or commit any horrendous crime. If Obama would’ve did 1/3 of what Trump done he wouldn’t have finished his 1st term, he would have been impeached or assassinated out of office I believe. If Payton would’ve said something you agreed with you will be all ears, like Brees before he recanted and apologized.

1. Name a single post here that justifies murder.
2. Who isn’t showing sympathy or empathy here? You clearly haven’t been reading posts.
3. Your post sounds more racist than any I’ve read on this forum.
4. Your comment on Trump and Obama tops it off. What exactly do you think Obama did for the black community? Trump had criminal justice reform passed and lead the way for great jobs numbers and wage growth for the black community. You know Trump was praised by black culture including people like Al Sharpton and honored with awards for helping the black community? He was one of the first people that came to Tyson’s defense after rape allegations/ convictions. For ****s sake he was in a long term relationship with a black woman.

If you want to make political statements or broad generalizations about people on this board put some context behind it or facts, otherwise you sound foolish.

You want to see where I stand, feel free to read the posts. There has been some great discussion on the board particularly with people like Raz and others.

If the Saints find a way to lose again in the playoffs, we may need to have an election for a new head coach...

The last I remember it is the players that are on the field playing the game. Except when they are on the injured reserve list, of course. ;)

Appear in 1 Super Bowl in the entire 54 year history of the franchise, and somehow because you haven't been back, the coach that has the best record in your franchise history is crap and out the door.

Absolutely! Because the only thing the Saints organization does better than get to the Super Bowl is hire winning coaches.

A new DC probably would fix that problem.....

New England, and perhaps Kansas City, are the only two franchises in the league that wouldn't rather have Sean Payton as their head coach right now. Getting to and winning the Super Bowl are extremely difficult and requires quite a bit of luck. Producing wins over a 16, and soon to be 17, game season is a far greater barometer for coaching greatness. I have been a loyal fan over every one of those 54 years and no coach in our history comes close to Sean Payton.

Being lucky enough to have healthy players in the playoffs would fix that better.

Nothing says change like electing an 80 year old white guy who's been in DC for 50 years.

I just want for one thing to come out of the elections. Get that racist Trump out of the White House and get the Republicans out of power in the Senate. Can you believe that the Republicans refuse to outlaw lynching?

Obama did great things for this country and Trump has worked hard to roll back everything that Obama accomplished to protect the people and the planet.

Rugby, do you honestly believe any of these Senators or Congressmen are for lynching? Even I have a hard time believing that, and I'm pretty cynical lol. Murder is already illegal, and so are hate crime acts.

This is another ridiculous phenomenon of politics: introduce a huge list of items that the majority of people agree with, except for 2 or 3 suspicious items -- then market the bill failure as an endorsement, by the opposition, of whatever it is the bill was purporting to "fix." Both sides do it. It's the nature of being captive to the lies that got them all elected. (you have to continue lying to maintain such a system)

If you read the bill, it's pretty clear to me that Congress is trying to establish broader interpretations of hate crimes, as well as federal authority to punish even the "conspiracy" of a hate crime as if the act had actually been done.

In my opinion, that makes us all LESS safe, not more safe.

Think about the implications of being accused of the conspiracy of hate crimes. Anyone on Twitter or Facebook would easily be capable, with enough things taken out of context, to frame just about anyone. Even on this board. It's all in writing.

Smollet could've had 2 innocent guys put away for 10 years by accusation alone.

Getting too caught up in the hate crime thing is dangerous, because motives are hard enough to prove as it is, and now throw in a highly emotionally charged environment, and you might literally be charged with a hate crime for trying to stop a protestor from vandalizing your business.

Lets not get to the point where we can so easily accuse someone of being a racist with no credible proof of such a thing. The only thing we'll accomplish is more paranoia and a positive feedback loop of doubling down on things that neither of us can prove except for damaging our own respect for each other.

Not trying to argue with you, just trying to express what I think is a real dangerous road with some pretty scary consequences.
