Glad Brees stated his resolve, and considering what he's done for this franchise, this state and the unfortunate in his community, the rest of the supporting cast can go f*ck themselves if he won't conform to their politics...

Yep. Nothing he said was rude or controversial. If they want to be offended by it then that's their choice. They've all behaved wildly inappropriately at this point and owe Drew a HUGE apology, both privately and publicly. He is a living legend and seemingly a great person and they are attempting to assassinate his character. If they don't walk this **** back quickly they will come to regret it.

Retired Army Veteran... When the National anthem is played the Correct protocol is standing with hand over your heart or saluting the flag ... Period ... Standing with Drew... And For all who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom that can no longer standoff themselves.

Hope you're right man, but if they don't resolve this it's gonna cause issues. Brees may not be so willing to put it all on the line for a bunch of guys who stabbed him in the back. And these entitled children sure aren't likely to go out of their way to help a guy who so cruelly hurt their feelings through no fault of his own. Shame too because this was already going to be a tough year with the abbreviated offseason. Drew is nearing the end and I really wanted to see him go out on top. I'm afraid this will derail any hope of that happening.
