Davenport

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Can he get to Cam Jordan type play? What would be considered a breakthrough year or has he accomplished his peak as a no#1/14 overall pick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk...

Re: Davenport

Davenport sets the edge well, can get to the passer and disruptor ... when he plays. IMO he has ability to become elite at his position. As you may remember, he was playing quite well in 2019 but damn, injuries kind of derailed his progress.

Our guy really needs to be available for 16+ games in 2020.

Adding another pass rusher into the rotation certainly wouldn't hurt.

Re: Davenport

I would love to see him fulfill his draft status potential. No time like the present.

Yep. Davenport might last longer and be more of an impact player being rotated. Remember, he hasn't done this whole life to toughen up his body and joints. Let's hope that the injuries are behind him as well as a solid back up if he does go down again.

Vikings Kurt cousins would have had a little more pressure maybe have made the difference
