Eric Bieniemy
A NOLA boy who made it out of Louisiana. Good for him.

Is he ready for a HC job. Maybe... maybe not. It's a different animal managing vs coaching.

Lincoln Riley - doubt he turns to the pro game. Unless he gets tired of getting beat by SEC teams.

Dan Campbell needs to go to a coordinator position first. He seems smart.

He can be no worse than Freddie Kitchens, Adam Gase or Anthony Lynn. The new Browns HC is 38 and was a OC/RB coach before becoming a HC.

Eric has been in the league twice as long with skins on the wall. He's more than ready. Andy Reid coaching tree is impressive so it's just a matter of time for EB.

The problem is not Payton. It's his loyalty to his cronies. It took forever to clean house and then he brought DA back because he has a comfort level with him. It's certainly not because Allen is a top notch D-coordinator.:dunce:

There's really nothing major wrong with the Saints defense that can be helped. You cannot avoid injuries. You cannot cover in the downfield defensive backfield without pressure upfront and pressure up front requires healthy starters mostly.

If the team is that loaded blame it on coaching. You can't fix stupid but you can coach situational awareness. Our secondary doesn't really have the ability to close because apparently they aren't taught too. Not only that but DA changes up what's been working and apparently only confuses the defense in critical moments. Three in three years causing an early exit from the playoffs.

I feel comfortable blaming Dennis Allen. Besides I've always thought he looked kinda' wormy.

He looks more like a volleyball coach.

We lost to the Vikings on a “miracle” play. We still would have had to beat the Eagles and nobody was going to beat the Eagles that year. It was just their year.
Same with 2011. Everyone acts like if we had beat SF we would have automatically made it to the SB. We would have still had to beat NY and Nobody was beating the Giants that year.

How do you know no one was beating the Eagles or the Giants? You don't know until and unless the game is actually played. Nobody was beating the Colts in the 2009 post-season either until we played them.
