Is Winston already surpassing Taysom Hill?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We have 2 guys on the roster that I feel can be NFL starters. Barring a trade for someone we know will work out, I think we just let the situation resolve itself and quit thinking about it too much. ...

I think from Payton's vantage point, both guys could be the starter next year. They'll both get a lot more work in training camp than they normally would have with Brees being there. By the start of the season, Payton will have a pretty strong opinion. If neither work out, then there's the draft.

If the Saints traded for Luck this would be him looking at the tape

Tackles Armstead and Ramcyzk

Then he sees Peat

I wasn't implying the Saints would acquire Luck, just saying if tried a comeback with the Colts then there would be less spots for all the starting-caliber QB's.

Tom Brady factor

When he walked in the building, players "believed". Certainly there were other factors (key free agent signing, coaching change and a solid draft) but landing Tom, old man Gronk, Fournette (played well) & AB all shined in the brightest moment last night.

No disrespect to any QB past or present but Brady is the GOAT.

I beg to differ. Drew is the GOAT because he's done it all without a supporting cast or defense until his later years. I don't think Brady could have carried the Saints on his back to achieve the same success. He likes to holler, scream, and curse at defensive players or even his own team mates. I don't think Brady could have held the team together like Drew has done during the adverse times.
