Don't care what kind of lip service Payton is paying Tre'quan, proof is in the targets, production and Smith, as of this time is, at best, the WR5, and with our TE and RB crew, puts him as the 8th option...

Was watching some highlights of the Steelers vs Niner game of last year. I consistently saw Pitt WR make plays & create separation against a fast defense ... Diontae Johnson (was a 3rd rd rookie in 2019). I had to go look at his stats ... 59 rec / 680 yards 5 tds all with a back up QB throwing him the ball. IDK, I guess the Steelers simply have an eye for wide receivers. I think 2020 will either make or break Tre'. Competition for targets will be fierce this season. |
